Cette série intitulée "Addictions" regroupe plus d’une vingtaine d’autoportraits, où l’objet fusionne avec le visage humain. L’addiction amène généralement la notion de rituel, créant ainsi un rythme ordonné des choses. Cependant, de plus en plus présente dans notre quotidien, elle peut aussi amener le trouble et générer un disfonctionnement.
Visage masqué ou à peine dévoilé, le portrait identificatoire s’efface malgré l’utilisation de la frontalité et d’un cadrage rapproché poitrine. Ces postures inconfortables, voire douloureuses s’imposent à moi. Une mutation est en marche… Accroc à la propreté, au shopping ou encore à la mode : mon but " ici " est d’interroger le sens de l’objet et le portrait lui-même, sans oublier la notion de dépendance inhérente à notre société de consommation.
This entitled series "Addictions" groups more than about twenty self-portraits, where the object merges with the human face. Masked or hardly revealed face, the portrait identificatoire fades in spite of the use of the frontality and the moved closer centring breast. These uncomfortable even painful postures are imperative upon me. A transfer is underway… Tear in the cleanliness, in the shopping or still fashionably : my purpose «here» is to question the sense of the object and the portrait itself, without forgetting the notion of dependence inherent to our consumer society.
